Okay so I just got back from up north visiting my mother. I tell you what, it was fun. The water was crisp and really warm. Something off of the "Blue Lagoon" I swear. It was turquise and soooo refreshing. If I give any amount of advice that acounts for anything it would be to visit Torch Lake by Traverse City in MI. It was beautiful. Tuesday night I went to the bar with a few friends who also came up on vacation. We went to Streeters in Traverse C. I was suprised to find out that my girl, AJ had come up to suprise me. My heart dropped to the floor when I seen her there. She had come all that way to see me because she missed me too... how sweet =). The next day we took my friends boat out and went tubbing in Lake Cadillac. I had a ball because I missed my girl and she was there to enjoy the moment with me. Of coarse, I went on the tube first and then she got on with me. We only went for about 30 min and called it a day on the tube. I still had a blast. I got home that night and missed her, I couldnt wait to see her the next day. But then my mom was there telling me that we were going to go to our cabin for the weekend. As much as I wanted to still spend time with her, I wanted to see AJ too. So I pleaded with her to take me home to see AJ. When I got home, she wasnt here but it wasnt an hour later that she showed up and we rejoyced in each others arms.
I learned this week that my mother is someone I will always miss, and I can live with that feeling. But being away from a loved one such as AJ is unbearable. Its like feeling a complete loneliness creep over you. Its hard not sleeping in the same bed that your used to with someone your used to sleeping with. I missed her and now that Im back, we are back to our old selves. =}
I do miss my mom. But she doesnt agree with my lifestyle. And sometimes, I dont agree with the lifestyle she chose for me when I was younger. All I can say is to just be yourself, and have fun. Life is short, I can honestly agree with that, so take advantage of the time you have here. Its a blessing to wake up everyday. And dont forget to smile. ;)
